Description
On July 8, 2026, importers of regulated consumer products were required to begin electronically filing certificate of compliance data with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) under the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission's (CPSC) revised certificate rule (16 CFR part 1110). The requirement expanded on January 8, 2027, to include products entered for consumption or warehousing from foreign trade zones (FTZs).
With several months of implementation underway, this webinar will explore early enforcement trends, common compliance challenges, and lessons learned. Speakers will discuss how CPSC and CBP are implementing the requirements, common filing errors that can lead to shipment holds, examinations, and delays, and early experiences following the January FTZ deadline.
Designed for manufacturers, importers, and sellers of products subject to CPSC regulations, this webinar will provide practical insight for companies across the household and commercial products industry, including aerosol, air care, cleaning, and floor care products.
The webinar will include an opportunity for audience questions.
